The holiday’s are a great time of enjoyment. We love our families, get togethers, family and friends. And food. Food is an integral and wonderful part of celebrating and we indulge ourselves. It can be a time of calorie-dense food, rich desserts, and simply too much alcohol. By the end of the holidays, you feel tired, sick of leftovers, and likely wishing you had a holiday to cleanse yourself of all the calories you have consumed. So why not try a post-holiday detox?
The number one thing you should address is hydration. Most likely, you are very dehydrated. Buy a plastic or aluminum water bottle and drink several bottles of water a day, depending on your weight and activity level. Supplement this water intake with fresh water-rich foods like fruits and vegetables. Avoid the dehydrating snacks and beverages.
Get rid of the leftovers. Clean out your fridge, your cupboard and freezer of those energy-sapping foods you have been eating over the holiday. If you cannot abide throwing out good food, send care packages of leftovers home with each of your guests, and return to healthier food after the holiday.
Make a committment to doing the Cayenne Pepper Diet for 3-10 days. This diet will detoxify your body and help promote weight loss. You will address not just your hoiliday over-indulging but also the stored up toxins and junk inside your colon that you have been carrying around for years.
