The Cayenne Pepper Diet, also known as the Master Cleanse,  is getting a lot of press lately. Hollywood actors, fitness gurus, anyone who needs to get in shape is turning to this decades old proven health system that involves drinking a mixture of lemon juice, maple syrup and cayenne pepper.

So why should you bother with the Cayenne Pepper Diet?

There are two main reasons. First, it works. Period. People are getting fantastic results from the Cayenne Pepper Diet and there are thousands of testimonials of dedicated users who are living proof of the effectiveness of this cleanse. In fact, Beyonce Knowles is known to have used it to lose 20lbs in a very short period of time for her role in Dream Girls. The positive results are a quick weight loss, along with the health benefits of flushing out your system – which is what the Cayenne Pepper Diet is really designed to do. 60 years ago,  the cleanse was first designed for people suffering bad health because of toxic waste building up inside them. Today we are in much more desperate need because of processed food and toxic environment. We should be using the cayenne pepper diet every once in a while. When you flush out your body with the Cayenne Pepper Diet, the waste you eliminate will be abnormal. The smell, color, and texture of the waste that comes out of your body shocks some people, so you should be prepared.

There are some negative challenges you will have to overcome. You will likely experience hunger, aches, and irritability. Most people give up because of hunger. Putting solid food aside for a couple days and only drinking liquids is harder then most people think. Even though the cravings for whole foods can be difficult they do subside after a few days on the Cayenne Pepper Diet. You may also experience aches and soreness, which can be alleviated somewhat by drinking lots of water.

Before beginning the cleanse, let the people in your life know what you are going to do. Your support system will be important when you feel weak, irritable, and want to give up.
