Also known as Master Cleanse and Lemonade Diet
It doesn’t come as a surprise to learn that people today lead toxic lifestyles. The meals we eat are laden with chemicals, the air we breathe is polluted, and are daily lives are often filled with anxiety. Our bodies have a difficult time managing with all these negative factors. If we poison ourselves from the inside, we put a heavy load on our colon, liver, kidneys, gall bladder, and every other organ in our body which must fight these toxins. If we don’t adopt a life of wellness then years could be robbed from our lives. Even worse, chronic pain, fatigue, obesity, and other illness may manifest as we age.
If we take positive steps, like the Cayenne Pepper Cleanse, we reap the benefiical effects of this popular fast. The cleanse promotes a healthy body by assisting it of ridding those toxins accumulating in your organs and glued to your colon. This cleanse works so well at cleaning your body that years of built up waste can be mobilized and eliminated in ten days.
Consider how you would feel once cleansed … lighter, more clear minded, free of addiction to sugar, and a general sense of well-being.
A common question to ask is “Can I exercise while on the Cayenne Pepper Diet?”
The answer is determined by what kind of exercise you are currently doing. Rigorous training or lifting weights are not the best choice when on the fast. Consider that you will be drinking lemonade for ten days and eating no food. Your body is on a restricted caloric intake and your metabolism will slow down to accommodate that. If you engage in intense exercise you may find yourself feeling faint or shaky. You may feel an overwhelming urge to eat something with carbohydrates to get your blood sugar up.
It’s best to do only light exercise while on the Cayenne Pepper Diet And remember to ‘ease out’ of the diet once you are finished. That would apply to your exercise routines as well.
Ciara tried to lose weight on the Cayenner Pepper Diet. The singer was following the example set by Beyonce Knowles by going on an all liquid diet of a special mix of lemonade.
However, the challenge of the diet was too much for Ciara and she was missing out on her favorite meals.
“I attempted to do this cayenne pepper [diet] thing one time. I could not get past the idea of drinking what that stuffed looked like.
I attempted to, but I was like, “I just cannot do it,” because I love food too much. It would be so hard to take away physically eating food.
Drinking a liquid diet would not work for me.”
Beyonce revealed she lost a whopping 20lbs for her role in ‘Dreamgirls’ by following the fast composed of a special lemonade made from lemon juice, cayenne pepper, maple syrup and water.
Beyonce said at the time:
“I lived on water, cayenne pepper and maple syrup for 14 days. It was tough – everyone was eating and I was dying.”
The diet promises to detoxify the body and also help in rapid weight loss.
Since ditching the cayenne pepper diet, Ciara has chosen to focus on eating plenty of vegetables and protein meals.
The 23-year old star explained to OK! magazine:
“I change my eating schedule by getting rid of bad carbohydrates and replacing them with complex carbohydrates,
like brown rice, wheat toast and wheat pasta noodles. I make sure it’s more protein-driven. Like grilled chicken,
steak and fish. I also like to do greens to get fiber – broccoli, string beans, salad and lettuce – and to help cleanse your body.
I do five or six meals when I’m eating healthy. And I drink tons of water”
Detoxing the liver is just as important as the other organs. When you take on a cleanse, consider that the liver must be included in the detox for you to have a complete elimination. Natural detoxes are often the best.
Using lemon juice is an old method, made popular by the Cayenne Pepper Diet. The mixture of lemon juuice, cayenne pepper, maple syrup and water is drank during the day. When you take it with a meal it helps digest your food and prevents undigested food from entering into the bloodstream. You liver detects these as contaminates and filters them out. When you detox the body and liver, the organ will work less hard.
Claims have been made that the lemon juice detox can relieve gallstones. Gallstones are calcified bile usually surounding a parasite or bacteria. It’s difficult for the body to try remove these because they are porous, and can become a haven for further infection.
Mixing lemon juice with olive oil and Epsom salts will make a great liver detox. You consume this during specified times during the day and eveing. You must be on a non-fat diet for the day before the cleanse and the day off. When the bile isn’t being used to break down fat, it builds up and adds pressure to push the stones out of the gallbladder. Now you can see why this is a gret detox.
Lemon juice has another added benefit to the liver … vitamin C. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that acts upon free radicals in the bloodstream. Are you ready to try the lemon juice detox?
