The Lemonade Fast


The Lemonade Fast, adapted from Stanley Burrough’s Master Cleanser Recipe, is quite simple and will leave you with a decent level of energy while your liver and blood stream is being cleansed of toxins. Also known as the cayenne pepper diet or lemonade diet.

Things You’ll Need:

  • Lime Juice
  • Maple Syrups Organic
  • Lemons
  • Lemon juice
  • Cayenne Pepper
  1. Step 1

    Mix together 2 tbsp of lemon juice, 2 tbsp of organic maple syrup and cayenne pepper to taste, per 1 cup of pure filtered water.

  2. Step 2

    You must drink a minimum of six cups of the lemonade during the cleanse. The goal is to cleanse for 10 days, eating no solid foods. You may drink herbal laxative teas and as much water as you want.

  3. Step 3

    Keep your bowels moving with laxative teas in the morning and evening to help your body eliminate the toxins accumulating in your colon as the lemonade cleans your entire system. Taking enemas on the last few days is also highly recommended for clearing out your colon.

  4. Step 4

    Complete the fast by beginning to drink orange juice for two days. This will help your body prepare for the return of solid foods. On the third day, drink orange juice for breakfast, consume some fruit for lunch, then eat fruits and salad for dinner. The next day, resume healthy eating.
